The service was all in all very good. The food for breakfast, especially coffee, bread, yoghourt and fruit, was outstanding. Its location was decent, close to big museums, sightseeing, and the nearest subway station.

Very good food for the dinner menu (breakfast was OK but not spectacular).
The gym -- it's really disappointing.

Good price-performance ratio. Very nice staff.
Noises from the corridor and other rooms were loud and clearly to be heard.

Room was spacious. Breakfast was quite good and varied. Bed had good mattress
The hotel was very noisy; there were problems with the water pipe which made loud noises all night long.

This hotel was overall a good selection for what we were looking for. The price was fair and a bountiful breakfast was included (which most hotels don't offer). The bed was very comfortable and the room in general was neat and clean. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The Atocha Renfe station is very close to the center of Madrid being just 4 stops or about 10 minutes from Sol.
The hotel in general needs to be updated (i.e. the bathroom), even if the furniture in the room was pretty new. It's located a bit farther away from the Atocha station than what we expected based on other reviews that we had read. It's like 15 minutes walking from the Atocha station (which we had read was the closest). But the Atocha Renfe station is a bit closer (10 min) and it's a much more pleasnt walk as it's inside the Atocha train station with stores and other services because there isn't a whole lot in close proximity to the hotel itself.

Newer hotel, close to train station and central to main town area, quiet.

I had a Junior Suite at a great price, with a great breakfast, the staff was friendly, reliable and service-oriented, the location is optimal for me.
If you can notice anything at all, it might be that the room was kept a little cold in terms of decoration. But since this is a matter of taste, I will not include it in the evaluation. The coffee at breakfast could be fresh, not from the vending machine.

Location just next door to the main train station of Madrid, Madrid Atocha trainstation, and the terminal. Having a safe box, a minibar and central heating in our newly decorated room. Their service was very good!
